One of the most honored female vocalists of the 20th century, her talents have spanned a variety of genres including country, Latin, light opera, standards and rock n roll. Among her many honors, was induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammy’s in 2016 and she received Kennedy Center Honors in 2019.  Presenter, Richard Knox, retired teacher
