Event Details

Grades: 2-5.

Enter the dreams of African American artist Faith Ringgold, where she is always freely flying and dancing! Ringgold created many colorful story quilts about her memories, her dreams, and the civil-rights movement. In this class, children will create their own story quilt design to share a memorable, positive life moment.

Registration for SSD residents begins January 3; non-residents one week later, space permitting. 

*Caregivers must remain in the library while the children are attending library programs.
