Event Details
This hands-on program will teach you as a bystander what you can do to stop potentially fatal bleeding before emergency responders can arrive such as the basics of identifying and treating life-threatening bleeding using tourniquets, wound packing, and pressure dressing.
Earn 2 hours of community service.
Due to the sensitive topic this program deals with, this program is only open to high school students.
A permission slip signed by a parent/guardian will be need to enter the program. It will be emailed to you before the program.
Registration for SSD residents begins September 18, all others one week later if available.
