Program Description

Event Details

Grades 1 to 3. 

Students dive into the world of trees, learning about dendrochronology (tree-ring science) and identifying species through leaves, seeds, and bark. Hands-on activities, such as creating personalized “tree cookies,” connect students to the critical role trees play in our environment.

Children's Disclaimer

Each child who wants to attend must be registered using their own library card. Please do not register more than one child on one library card unless specified. 

Registration for non-residents begins one week after registration opens, space permitting.  Please call the library to register as a non-resident. 

Caregivers must remain in the library while their children are attending library programs. 

All programs are age specific.  No younger or older siblings unless specified. 

If you arrive more than 10 minutes past the stated start time of the program, your spot may be given to someone on the waiting list.
