Program Description
Event Details
Teens will learn about the basis of the U.S. Constitution, such as who created it, why it was created, and its purpose. Teens will also learn about the three branches of the federal government, and real world actions done by those in politics to ensure a functioning government. Finally, they will explore the media’s role in government, and how it impacts the civic process. Afterwards, teen will play a trivia game on Kahoot, please bring a device to play on.
Earn 1 hour of community service.
Registration for SSD residents in middle school begins November 24, all others one week later if available.
